Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on August 8, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who were a dentist and teacher in a school helped and encouraged her passion for acting and theater. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. When she was a teenager rising to the heights of fame was rapid and marked with the beginning of her success. Her career began in earnest in 1999, after which she began acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou participated in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she has since gotten rid of these upbringings. Modeling and acting were intertwined. Tautou was the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as the Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense interest in photography and recently presented an exhibit of her work during the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity as well as popularity. The exhibition also includes portraits of herself and focus on journalists that have closely scrutinized Tautou following her rapid success after Amelie. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her debut role as the lead in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie has been a box office hit internationally and recognized at many awards shows around the world. It's also the biggest French film in the history of French language to be made in the US. Following the film, she appeared in many films that ranged from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
